Just checked the wiring for my current AC unit and am not sure if it's compatible with the Nest Thermostat or not?

This thermostat is connected using an RJ45 modular plug. To help you mote, we need the make and model of your thermostat and your HVAC system .

After some Googling, it seems to be an Orion Control System. The model number of the AC unit is

YS101858.

Hi everyone,

Just one quick final check in here since activity has slowed down. We'll be locking the thread in the next 24 hours, but if you still need help, I would be happy to keep it open. If there's more we can do, just let me know.

Thanks,

No, your system is not compatible with any Nest thermostat in the USA/Canada as it uses a proprietary interface that is not supported by Nest.

If you are located in UK/Europe, then it might be compatible with the Nest thermostat w/ Heat Link, which I can not help you with.
