Hello,
My nest learning 3rd gen has been working fine for the last couple
of years. However, couldn’t connect the other day and noticed the display was off and green flashing light. Left it for a good hour and no change so I unplugged and left off over night. Next day I plugged it back in and worked ok for a while but then the problem happened again. I did the unplug thing again and it came back on - I checked software is latest and then did a full reset. worked for a few hours but now have black screen with green flashing light and cannot connect. Any ideas!?

Hi Motep,
Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry to hear that you're having an issue with your Nest Thermostat. I'd love to know more about this and I have a few questions:
Also, to isolate the issue, please try charging the display of your Nest Thermostat on a wall outlet for at least 30 minutes.
Thanks,
Edward

Hello, it is on a usb base.
If I remove the thermostat from the base and charge it directly then it works again for a day or so when put back on the base. Then goes off line again and I have to charge again.
power info: batt 3.852 (after charging), vusb 4.98v, vin 0v, lin 200 mA
I’ve checked with a different usb mains plug and that the usb cable is plugged into the base correctly.
what else can I try?
