Learning Thermostat still getting Low Battery after power restored

I have a Nest Learning Thermostat:

Model Display: 3.4
Software version: 6.2-27
Base Software version: 1.5.38 / 3.1
Model Backplate: 5.3

After being out of the house yesterday, I came home and there was a message that the Nest had lost power, and shortly later the display went off completely.  After checking breakers and such, we had a heat and A/C tech out, who replaced the transformer in the furnace this morning.  The Nest is showing that it has power now, but after a couple of hours of having power I'm still getting a Low Battery alert and the thermostat will not connect to WiFi.

The connections shown and power are:

W1-Y1-G-Rh
Battery: 3.706 V
Voc: 38.13 V
Vin: 36.67 V
Lin: 20mA (i)

Do I just need to wait longer, or is there a problem with my thermostat and I either need to replace the battery, or the whole thermostat?

Thanks for any help you can offer.

Patience was a virtue this time.  After about 8 hours, the low battery alert cleared and everything is back to normal.
