Learning nest compatibility with a Carrier Infinity system with a dehumidifier and humidifier ...

Can i use a learning nest to replace the awful carrier infinity thermostat? I have a dehumidifier and humidifier.

You can but then you will lose the communicating part and any other proprietary feature like the Carrier humidity control and etc.
