Monitor Nest 3.2 Home temperature while away

The nest 3.2 is in eco mode as we are away. I wanted to check what the house was and can't find a post or internet instructions for doing this remote. It is set for Heat below 62 and AC above 74. I have connected to my account and full info and can control.

Question-How do you find out what the house temperature is remotely to confirm it is working and house is safe?

Hello D1144,

Welcome to the Google Nest Community! I know it can be confusing when you can't see the actual temperature at home while monitoring it in the Nest app or in the Google Home app. I'd be happy to shed some light on the situation here.

The user interface in both apps is different when selecting the thermostat in question. For the Google Home app, you should see "Indoor" as an identifier for the ambient temperature. For the Nest app, a small number located within the temperature control is for the inside temperature.

Here's an article on what you'll see on a Nest Thermostat. Let us know if you have more questions.

Regards,
Mark
