Moving- will be no Wi-Fi and no occupants for weeks.

Wondering what to do. We’re moving out of our house tomorrow but leaving the nest thermostat.  We are disconnecting the Wi-Fi and no one will be living here for several weeks.  How do I make sure the house is not too hot or too cold while no one is living here?   Once I disconnect Wi-Fi and remove the nest from our app, how is the temp controlled??  Help!

Hi Obiwanjillnobi,

Thanks for posting. Are you located from North America or Europe? What type of Nest Thermostat do you have? If you have the Nest Learning Thermostat or the Nest Thermostat E, you may set cooling and heating schedules on the thermostat based on your likeness for the rest of the week. In that way, the thermostat will just follow the set of temperatures scheduled on it without needing to be connected to the network or the app. You may follow this article on how to set temperature schedules for the Nest Learning Thermostat.

Let us know if you have any other questions. We're happy to help.

Best,

Zoe
