It has been a few years (yes, years) since I last attempted to follow up and find out why there is no feature that allows for the user to create more than one preset schedule to then toggle between. There are many reasons to want this, here are a few:
- work from home vs not (inconsistent schedule)
- person A home vs person B home (different temperature preferences)
- managing rental property (our preference vs default settings for renters)
- more basic thermostats offer this features years ago
- the "Smart" or "Learning" thermostat settings fail to reflect our preferences
The only feedback I've ever heard is along the lines of:
- we appreciate your feedback
- we have no news
- we are working hard to provide quality products
- tell another forum about it (which I've done exhaustively with the same success rate I've had on this forum)
- we're shutting down this thread if you don't have any other questions
I challenge Google to respond without using any of the above phrases or their equivalent. At the risk of being a pessimist I sadly predict that you will only confirm that this forum is equal in value to shouting into an abyss.
