My 3rd G Next Thermosat will not turn on my Propane Gas Stove

Following installation instructions I turned off power and removed my old wall mount thermostat.
Using a VIIVRIA AC/DC Adaptor I installed the Next with G, (green wire from stove) W (White wire from stove), RH and C wires from Adaptor.  I did not attach the Red stove wire to the Nest wire hub per instructions when using an adaptor for power.

Next device properly installed and completed steup.

Stove will not power on at any temperature setting.

Suggestions?

Removed Nest and returned to old Ritetemp Model 6030 Thermostat and stove works as designed.
W(WHite, G(Green), RH(Red).  wires attached to old thermostat.
W and R wires attach to stove regulator.
Fan is wired internal on the stove to AC.

 

Looking for Ideas on why m stove will not start wtihout the Red wire attached to the Nest Learning 3 Thermostat
