My Thermostat E was not connecting to internet so was told to factory reset, stuck on home icon

i cant connect my thermostat E anymore and tried to connect via app and despite talking to the E (i can see it spinning)( it always returns error cant connect to wifi. All groups say go to settings on nest but i can anymore as cant access anything apart from phone home icon. HELP !!

Heard this is common and may require a new thermostat

I understand that issues with your thermostat can be confusing but I definitely wanted to stop by and see how I could help. 

Just wanted to double check to see if you were still needing help on this? If so, what troubleshooting steps have you tried? Are you getting any error messages on your device?
