The nest thermostat link won’t connect to my WiFi and to the heat link and it’s been like this for several months now, I have to switch my heater manually.

What have you tried so far to connect them together?

What do you see on the display at present, any error code?

Do you have any lights on the Heat Link if so what?

Hi folks,

Thanks for reaching out in the community forum.

@Frustratedddd, I appreciate your help in this post.

@Ethelyn, I'm sorry to hear you're having difficulties connecting your Nest thermostat and Heat Link to your Wi-Fi. I understand it can be frustrating when your device isn't working as expected. No worries, let's work together to resolve this. To help me, I have a few questions:

  • What type of thermostat do you have?
  • What is the color of your Heat Link's light?
  • Are there devices or appliances (such as baby monitors, microwaves, cordless phones, and more) near the thermostat?
  • How far is your Nest thermostat from the router?
  • Can the thermostat see other networks?
  • Has your thermostat ever been connected to your network?
  • Are you getting any error messages or codes on the thermostat display? If so, please share a picture of it.

Any additional details you can provide will be helpful.

Cheers,
Jonathan
