My sensor says it's tied to another account

I have no idea how to reset it.  It was tied to another account I had.  I deleted the account and it still says its tied to another account.

I took the battery out and put back in 2 minutes later and it still will not reset.

Can anyone help me get this set up to my current account?

Hello, if you can log into your old account remove the sensor from that account. Btw. When you say sensor, you mean thermostat?
