NEST 3rd Gen learning thermostat: Setting HW Schedule

To set/re-set a HW schedule you're presented with an old-fashioned circular clock face and can set the hours and minutes separately - the latter to the nearest minute if you're so inclined.  But however you set any ON or OFF time, the actual setting reverts to the nearest hour or half-hour - it's impossible to set any in-between times!  Anyone else having this problem?

• Are you trying to set an automatic schedule for heating or cooling?
• Are you setting up Home Away Assist?
• What type of HVAC system do you have?

I'm in England (so, Europe, sort of!)

Trying to set Hot Water schedule

No

Heating and Hot Water by gas boiler. V, A and C not appplicable!

To better assist you, I have a question for you:

• Are you creating the hot water schedule from the Nest app or directly on the thermostat?

If you already have a schedule:

• Try deleting it and creating a new one. Here's an article to help you: Manually turn the water heater on or off. 

If you don't have a schedule and are using the thermostat:

• We recommend creating it in the Nest app for more precise control.
