NEST Thermostat suddenly says not getting enough power

When I bought and installed this thermostat there were no issues, it worked fine and I can still run the fan, the air conditioner, but the heating won't start and says I need a Nest Power Connector.

When I first connected I ran the test and it says it is compatible but now I have to buy this other product.  Has anyone seen this before?

Hello Bhavit,

It's unfortunate to hear about the issue you're experiencing with your thermostat. It's not uncommon for unexpected issues to arise even after initially successful installations. Regarding the Nest Power Connector requirement, it's possible that some heating systems may need additional components to function optimally with the thermostat.

If the compatibility test initially indicated that your system was compatible, it could be a case where certain features, like heating, require a specific accessory like the Nest Power Connector. I suggest checking out the Nest Power Connector article for more information. Also, did you see any messages or wiring reports on your thermostat? Can you share with us its power readings in the Equipment settings? Also, where did you receive a prompt for the need for a Nest Power Connector?

I'll look forward to your response.

Best regards,
Mark
