Need help verifying Nest thermostat compatibility with existing Trane.

Hello!

    Just picked up the less expensive model Nest thermostat and from what I am seeing off of other forums is that I may need the newer learning model Is it going to be possible to use the thermostat that I just picked up? Also, If you have advice or suggestions as to how I should run the wires.

I would recommend using our compatibility checker, as you will be able to enter the wires you are seeing. From there, it will provide you with more details on what thermostats are compatible.
