Nest 3rd gen

I’m very disappointed that this is my second nest device that has crapped out 6 to 8 weeks after the warranty has expired. Spent 30 minutes on chat, Was told it’s a power issue, so I asked about replacing the battery and all he could advise was I go out and spend $279 at the Google store for a new one. I really wish Google would make their products repairable. I went out and bought a Honeywell Wireless, the only downside was that I had to go get a adapter to run I C wire
