I updated my Nest 3rd Gen T-Stat to the new 4th Gen T-Sat. And although the T-Stat is operating properly, I am a bit frustrated with the fact that the outdoor temperature ia not displayed on the Google Home app. It is displayed on the T-Stat itself. But if I'm not by the T-Stat and open up my Google Home app on my phone, I can see mynT-Stat and and make all the necessary changes, it shows my setpoint, indoor humidity, and current indoor temp, but no where on the app is the outdoor temp. I was so use to having atht available on the Nest app (I prefer it that way) as it is helpful when determining if I will make any adjustments.
Has anyone else noticed this? Is there anyway to add the current outdoor temperature to the Google home app? I have searched online amd even called to speak to a Google Tech but neither was helpful.

Hello @AC112,
Thank you for posting on the community. I completely understand your frustration about outdoor temperatures that is not displayed on the Google home app. I'm happy to help.
Currently, the Nest Thermostat (4th generation) is designed to display the indoor temperature directly on its display and within the Google Home app. While the Nest Thermostat can access outdoor temperature information, this data is primarily used to optimize your system's efficiency and comfort.
Please, feel free to reach out if you have further questions.
Best regards,
Eitan

Not really sure what to make of your reaponse. But what I was hoping is that the outdoor temperature feature would eventually be added to the Google Home app. It is helpful for the user to make determinations when adjusting temp settings on the thermostat. Currently, I'm having to check the outdoor temp on a separate app; this shouldn't be the case.
