Nest Blinking Orange Light

My Nest thermostat has a single blinking Orange light at the top of the display. I noticed it happening a few days ago, then it stopped, but now it has come back. It only happens after 11am, and doesn't seem to stop until late at night or just randomly. During the day when it is blinking my AC will turn on and off rapidly, not turning on the fan, and overall not working. I do not see any notifications or alerts on my app or thermostat. This morning I woke up early and charged the thermostat, put it back on the wall, and it was working just fine for a couple hours, then it started blinking again and stopped working.

Since you are trying to charge the display and the thermostat still stops working, let me ask you about the battery information. 

You can find this in Settings > Technical Info > Power. Please share with me the details shown on this page and we can continue with your case and find a solution for you.
