Nest Fan Only Setting

When I first connected my Nest the fan only option worked. After about one month, it stopped and now it only runs when my AC or heat is on. I see that I'm not the only one with this problem, but after browsing around, I don't see a solution. Is there one?

Unfortunately the problem still exists. The fan only option doesn't work. The fan only starts up when my AC or heat come on.

I am sorry to hear you are still having trouble with the fan. I understand that this is not ideal for you, and I am glad to help out. Let's jump in and ensure you are good to go. You can run your system’s fan independently of heating or cooling. However, you can only run the fan when your thermostat is set to a temperature mode, and will not run when the device is off.
