Recently installed Nest gen 3 has stopped connecting to wifi with a W5 error. Tried reconnecting, resetting to no avail.

Try in the following order:

1) restart your router. Verify your internet connection is back up, then check your thermostat

2) if 1) did not work, reset your thermostat. (Settings - reset - restart)

I’ve been reading that nest is replacing some thermostats with that error. If none of above works, contact nest for warranty replacement
