I have a honeywell thermostat currently. Only a red white and blue wire labeled as 1, 2, and 3 respectively when I take the cover off. I cannot get the nest to accept all three wires. Any advice?
Thank you

Hello @Husker22
Thanks for reaching out to our Nest Community about this new installation. Don't worry; I'm here to help you with it.
Let me ask you if you have heating/cooling or just heating. This is because, according to the description, your system is compatible with the Nest Thermostat but will work only for heating since normally the white wire is to control this and the blue and red wire is to provide energy to the thermostat.
Feel free to reply with more details about your system; I'm here to find a solution for you.
Best regards,
Douglas.

Hi Douglas,
I have heating and cooling. I have found another thread where someone had a similar numerical setup with Honeywell as well. It is my understanding I have a proprietary wiring system for my home that is not nest compatible without rewiring. If you believe that is not true please let me know. Thanks for your reply.

Hi @Husker22
Thanks for your reply, I appreciated the information you provided me.
I think it is compatible, but my recommendation is to contact a technician to get the complete information. This technician could take a look at your system and explain to you how the process is connected to a Nest Thermostat.
If you are located in the USA, you can enter this page to contact a technician: Find a Nest Pro.
Feel free to keep us posted if you have more questions. I'm happy to assist you.
Best regards,
Douglas.
