Nest Learning 3rd Gen schedule will not clear

PaulDuley

Hi I have only just moved to new home with the Nest Thermo. I am stumped by a number of problems.

Heating switches on at some random point during night/day

Schedule has populated itself and I cannot clear it. When I delete the timings and leave the schedule ...when I go back it has repopulated.

I have tried turning "heat" off manually every night on app

I have turned off Auto-Schedule

I have turned off True Radiant

I have switched ECO on

Where do I start ?

Hello PaulDuley,

I'm sorry to hear that your thermostat isn't staying at the temperature that you set. I'm sure that is frustrating, but I wanted to see how I could help.

Have you already linked your new Nest Thermostat to your own account since you moved in? If you haven't yet, this might be the reason why a schedule keeps being created due to an existing account signed in. To make sure, clearing the Account Connection in the Reset settings would help, so you can add it to your email account.

Please let me know if that helps or if the issue still persists.

Regards,

Mark
