Just installed my new nest learning thermostat and noticed as soon as I put the stat on the wall the fan turns on and can’t be turned off. Also I went through the setup in the app and told it that I have electric, forced air system. My system only has heat (no AC). I ran the heat and fan test and there is no heat, but fan still on. I have c wire, g, w, and c. And the wires from wall to control board doesn’t show any type of wiring issue. Has anyone experienced anything like this?
by the way I uninstalled nest and went back to old stat. Heat and fan works as it should.

Hello NewNestUser,
I'm sorry for the trouble this may have caused you — let's see what's going on.
There are a few different reasons this could happen. One possibility is wiring. It could have the G terminal miswired, causing the fan to run all the time. Also, the C wire isn't properly grounded.
To isolate, does your thermostat have a power wire? If possible, could you please send us a picture of your thermostat showing how the wires are labeled? Also, is your fan still running even after removing the Nest Thermostat display from its base?
I'll look forward to your response.
Best regards,
Mark
