Nest Learning Thermostat

Recently purchased a home with a nest thermostat.  Trying to add the device, but it won't recognize my wifi network.  (STARLINK)

I've reset it multiple times to no avail.  The Starlink router is only about 30' away

Uh-oh! I'm sorry to hear that your recently installed Nest Thermostat won't recognize your network. Let me take a look at this for you. A few questions: 

• What type of Nest Thermostat do you have?
• Is the thermostat display working?
• Can your thermostat find other Wi-Fi networks?
• How far away is the thermostat from the router?
• Are there devices or appliances (such as baby monitors, microwaves, cordless phones, etc.) near the thermostat?
• Can your other devices find your Wi-Fi network name (SSID)?
• Are you able to access the internet from your phone or computer?
• Do you only have one Wi-Fi network, or are there multiple ones? If there are others, do any of them end in _ext?
• Are you trying to connect to the 2.4 GHz or the 5 GHz network?
