Hi,
I am looking into buying a nest thermostat and would like to know if the current wiring I have is compatible with the Nest product. I reached out to the google help team, and they told me it was but I am having a hard time figuring out which wires go into which of the slots on the google nest once installed.
I have taken off my old thermostat, and I can see two wires (one black and one brown) in the back of it. They are not labeled like the google nest installation manual says so I can't figure out what wires they are. Below is an image of the current thermostat.
Could someone help me to tell me if this is workable with the nest learning themostat, and how I need to wire them?

Hi @JamesMeeks1994,
Thanks for posting here in the community and I'm sorry for the delay.
Based on the photo, I suggest contacting a local professional and having them assess if your proprietary system can be rewired to be Nest compatible.
You can find more information in this article: How to Identify a thermostat wire.
Please keep me posted,
Best regards,
Jenniffer
