Nest Learning stopped working and now only has a flashing green light. All restart options failed.

Nest Thermostat went offline for a day and then display went blank. I’ve tried all reset options to no avail. Please advise.

Hey there CSetzer3179,

I know thermostat issues can be tricky and complicated, but I'm happy to look into this for you.

If the light blinks green and your thermostat is unresponsive for more than 15 minutes, it may have frozen during the update. Try to remove and reconnect the display. Pull it straight off the base. Make sure the pin connector is lined up correctly and push it back onto the base.

I was also able to find this article that might be able to help you with some more troubleshooting steps.

Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Best regards,

Garrett DS

Hi there, thanks. Nothing worked and we even called in a professional who said it likely shorted out. It was less than a year old. I went ahead and purchased a new device.
