Hello I have had my nest with no c wire for about two years and today i noticed the battery dying in it. I pulled it off and charged it via usb. I tried to run the ac again later and it kept turning the ac off and on very quickly. Is there anyway to diagnose the nest? it seems odd that the battery would degrade immediately. I can’t install a c wire since i live in an apartment and there are no plugs near my wall. I don’t mind trying to replace the battery but the app is reading 3.87 volts so I don’t know what the issue is. I haven’t even been using it that much, the day it died my ac was only on for 3 hours. Does this device log anything at all like disconnections or errors that can help me figure out what the issue is?
thanks for your help
