Nest Power Connector not working

I just connected a Nest Power Connector to my two wire heat only nest and when I look at the diagram it is showing the 3 wires are all there (no errors) but the heat won't turn on when I put the heat on.  I am also seeing an error for n73 but I am confused because again the diagram is showing that all the wires are connected.  Has anyone run into this issue?

Are you using an external transformer? If you are, you need to pull a jumper.

That I am not sure on, is there a way to connect the power connector directly to the nest and not the HVAC system?
