Nest Power Connector

Pbourgea

I have a Nest thermostat connected to a 2 wire, hearing only system. I connected a Nest power connector at the heating equipment as per the instructions. The furnace cycles fine and I am able to control the temperature setting through the app. However I still get emails telling me that the thermostat isn’t getting sufficient power. Is there a way to verify that the thermostat “sees” the power connector?

If you’ve installed Nest Power Connector and your power status is “not detected,” try running a power test. The status should change to “detected” after the power test.

  1. Make sure your thermostat is set to Off mode.
  2. On your thermostat, select Settings > Equipment.
  3. Select Power Connector > Power test.
  4. Wait for the power test to finish, and then select Done.
  5. To confirm, select Settings > Equipment > Power Connector > Power Status.
  6. The screen should now read “Nest Power Connector Detected.”
