Nest Return Label Never Received

We got a Nest Thermostat with our new AC unit. However it would not charge up or hold a charge, nor would it connect to the internet or app. A technician from our AC company came out and tested it and determined we needed a new one. He contacted you and set up a return and told me to watch my email, which I have done for several months now. Nada. Then I happened to go on my FedEx app and it shows that a label has been created for the return, only we still have not received said label. FedEx said there is nothing they can do, even with the tracking number, without a scannable (QR) code. How do I get a copy of the label or QR code so I can return my thermostat?
