Bought new New Nest Learning Themostat and trying to sign up for a rebate with Beat The Peak” through my electric supplier.  So I get to Nest sign in page which says “Sign In With Google” and I then click on My Account and I’m back to Nest sign in again.  Cannot get out of this loop!!

Hello @yancyd99,

Thanks for posting in the community.
I understand the frustration of encountering a sign-in loop while trying to register your new Nest Learning Thermostat for the "Beat the Peak" rebate through your electric supplier.

It seems you're encountering a situation where the Nest sign-in page keeps redirecting you back after clicking "My Account." This could be due to a temporary glitch or a compatibility issue with your electric supplier's website.

Here's how to break the loop:

  • Try a Different Browser: Launch your web browser in incognito or private mode to avoid conflicts with cookies or cached data. Alternatively, try a different web browser altogether to see if the issue persists.
  • Clear Browser Cache and Cookies: Clear your browser's cache and cookies. These can sometimes cause login issues on websites.
  • Contact your electric supplier: Reach out to your electric supplier's customer support and inquire about any specific instructions or troubleshooting steps related to "Beat the Peak" rebate registration using a Nest thermostat.
  • Check Registration Process: Double-check the "Beat the Peak" rebate registration process provided by your electric supplier. There might be additional steps or information needed that you might have missed.

I appreciate your patience as you work on registering your Nest thermostat for the rebate program. Hopefully, these suggestions will help you break the sign-in loop and proceed with a successful registration.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Regards,
Jorge
