Hi,
Potentially looking to move to a place that has multiple electric heaters only (storage heaters).
Is there a way to connect those heaters so they all report to one thermostat for heat control?
Are there specific storage heaters that work with nest?
Or is it possible to wire each heater directly to heat link for control? In such setup how would nest know what temperature is in each room?
Cheers
Lukas

I’m looking for this too. Nest thermostat causes smart plugs to turn on (where space heaters are plugged in)

Hi @Lucazade. Thanks for reaching out to us here and sorry for the late reply.
Generally electric heating systems are not compatible with Google Nest thermostats. Here is a link with all the compatibility information: https://bit.ly/3pgxJFe .
In short, the Heat Link is not designed to carry a load that is higher than 3 amps. While this is ok for boilers and systems that burn a fuel to heat water it is not appropriate for a electric heating system as they generally require way more power.
There is one exception and that would be the fil pilote electric radiator systems found in France. They are compatible with the Google Nest Thermostat when installed by a Nest Pro.
Hope this helps.
Best regards,
