Nest Temperature Sensor Issues

Temperature sensor used to work but failed to sense any temperature a few days ago. Bought new batteries to replace but it can't and won't connect to my thermometer anymore. I require some guidance. Thank you

Hi there,

 

Great troubleshooting so far, @Jotaro. You can also give these steps a try:

 

  1. Move the sensor close to the thermostat.
  2. Restart the thermostat by pressing and holding the screen for 10 seconds until it shuts down to refresh.
  3. Once ready. Ensure that it's still connected to your Wi-Fi network.
  4. Restart your sensor by removing the batteries for at least 3 minutes before plugging them back in.
  5. Then, proceed with adding it back to the Nest app.

Tried all the things in the article, and it's still not re-connecting to the thermostat

I can’t believe it, it works.  I’ve been struggling with this for a week.  Thank you so much.  Are there no phone numbers to call for help, anymore?  I’m old school and I was pulling my hair
