Purchased and installed a new Nest Smart Learning Thermostat Gen 3. Connected one temperature sensor successfully. It worked for a couple of hours, but when I checked the app later it was displaying unable to connect error.
I've went through the various Google Nest help pages but nothing has worked. I even tried moving the sensor to the same roo, 10 ft away from thermostat with direct line of site and still won't establish connection. I tried removing sensor from the app, removing and replacing battery and it still didn't work. Is this a known issue? Please help.

I was able to find an article where others are confirming it worked. I have not tried it yet.

The link Akin67 provided (thanks for sharing!) is a great step-by-step troubleshooting guide. If you give those steps a try and still can't find resolution, definitely consider opening a new thread or contacting support.
