All 4 of my sensors have been offline for most of the day. Any widespread outages going on?

Hey N_A,

Sorry for the delay but thanks for posting.

So far, we have not received any reports about a widespread outage for Nest Protect devices. Are they still offline now? If yes, have you tried restarting your router to refresh your network connection? If yes but to no avail, I suggest to try through the troubleshooting steps here

Keep me posted.

Best,

Melba

There may be slightly better troubleshooting steps here

since these are specific to the Nest Temperature Sensor

Hey there,

I'm just checking back in if you need further help with your Nest temperature sensors.

I need help... so far the best suggestion I have seen for an offline temperature sensor with a good battery that won't reconnect to the thermostat has been to factory reset the thermostat... I really would like to avoid if possible.

Hi,

Since it's been since this thread was last updated, we'll be locking it if we won't hear back from you again within a day. Should that happen, feel free to create a new one should you have more questions or have other concerns in the future.

I am having the same issue

Screenshot 2022-02-04 11.44.02 AM.png

Tried all the troubleshooting but the thermostat simply does not "see" the temperature sensor after years of working together... tried following the guidelines

Troubleshoot issues with the Nest Temperature Sensor

both

Issues during setup

AND

Issues after setup

The sensor is offline in the app or has trouble communicating with the thermostat.

Neither solved the problem...
