Hi,
i just bought Nest Thermostat 3rd generation.
i followed all steps.
But the Emergency mode is missing.
Nest suggest this wiring:
Y1=heat/cool
G=fan
OB=Heat pump
W1=aux.heat
C=24V common
RH=power
My old thermostat wiring is:
W2 W/E= jumper and one white wire in one of them.
RH/RC = jumper and red wire in RH
C= black wire
O/B= orange wire
Y=yellow wire
G=green wire
When i plugged the thermostat and switched on the HVAC breaker, Nest started to switch on and i started to configure.
I set the temperature to 23 degree celsius, the heat pump started to heat, i saw the current temperature at 21 degree but it never reached the 23 degree.
Nest showed aux.heat is on
i tried to the Emergency mode, it was not in the application noe in the nest.
So it was cold inside the house outside it was -8 degree celsius.
The Nest was learning by itself and it set the temperature to 22.
So i need to stop, removed the Nest and plugged the old thermostat which is working with Emergency mode and the house was warm again.
So what is the correct wiring for Nest to get it work correctly with emergency mode ?
Thank you

Hi Alex_Debarman,
Thank you for reaching out and we're sorry for the delay.
The wiring setup for your Nest Learning Thermostat is correct. You could also go to settings > equipment then select the right equipment type, heat type and source from here. Also, try to disable the eco mode and home away assist if you have it on and observe the behavior for a couple of days.
Also, check if you have a set temperature schedule change and delete them.
Best regards,
Ryan
