Nest Thermostat E house icon with download icon on top

I have just purchased a Nest Thermostat E.  It will not connect to the wifi, as it gives error TD008.

The advice is to complete a reset, but the thermostat has the house and download incon on it, and it does not respond.  I have held the ring down for 10 seconds and restarted it, but it just comes back to this screen.

Any ideas on what is going on?

I called google, and they couldn't resolve it. They said it was because my ISP does not operate IPv6, but I'm not convinced that is right.

I've sorted it now, but not exactly sure how.

I went on the Nest App, and clicked on the setting cog in the top right hand corner. At the bottom of the setting options, the thermostat was listed, so although it was giving error TD008 during set up, it had connected.  I clicked on the thermostat and it asked if I wanted to continue set up, and clicking on this took me to the next steps on installing the heat link.  This was quite easy to follow, and it all seems to be workinng.

The lady I spoke to on the google help line was very friendly, but I think the advice given clearly wasn't correct about the thermostat only working the IPv6 (whatever that is!).

I might get one for upstairs now...
