I have 2 Nests and both are reading the wrong indoor temp. It says 74 in my house but my other accurate temps say it's 72. What could possibly be causing them to read high? I'm severely disappointed in these products so far.

Hey Maverick87,
Thanks for reaching out and we're sorry to hear about what's happening.
When your system and thermostat are working normally, there can be a small difference between what the app and your Google Nest Thermostat show and the temperature you feel. For instance, there may be a small temperature swing because your thermostat will wait to turn on your system until it gets to about 1ºF (0.5ºC) warmer or cooler than the temperature you’ve set. This is to prevent unnecessary wear on your system and help save energy.
Check out this link to know more about it.
Regards,
Ryan

That’s actually not the issue. He is saying the indoor temp is not accurate (not the set temp). I’m having the same issue. My house is cold. My nest is saying it is 69, but it is closer to ############ according to a different thermometer. Frustrating.

Guys. Go get a thermometer and look at your nest. The Nest is higher. Fix yo shyt. I have 2 nests and they are both higher than a normal thermometer.

Same here; mine is showing 10 degrees higher than it is.
