Nest Thermostat Low Battery and Delayed Cooling

jecervantes15

Hello, I've recently ran into the problem of my Nest Thermostat starting and stopping suddenly, and taking a look at the home page shows that the cooling is now delayed, but keeps resetting itself. I looked into this and the solution was to replace the batteries, but after replacing the batteries the warning still remained. So I took off the thermostat from the wall to check the wiring and it seems that everything is in its right connector, double checking the wiring info inside the nest settings. I'm not sure what else the problem could be, any help would be much appreciated.

Hi jecervantes15,

Thanks for posting in the Google Nest Community forum. I appreciate you being a step ahead of us — I'm sorry for the delay. Does the issue also occur in the Google Home app? Please try to restart your Nest Thermostat by going to the Settings. If the issue persists, try to remove the C wire, then restart again your thermostat to refresh its software.

Let me know how it goes.

Best,

Jenelyn
