Hello,
My thermostat has a blue and black wire, are my old thermostat had separate places for these two wires to go. The Nest thermostat seems to have only one O/B port for orange and blue, and I'm wondering what I'm supposed to plug the blue wire into.
See attached photo for current wiring diagram. Any help is appreciated!

Hey stannie1950,
I would be more than happy to help you out. Taking a closer look at the photo, I am showing that you may need to have the Nest Learning Thermostat installed. I would recommend having a Nest Pro come out and take a closer look, as they will be able to install the device and ensure everything is set up properly. Please let me know if you have any other questions from here.
Best regards,
Jake

Apologies for the late reply. I contacted the servicer you provided, they quoted me $100 for the install. I'm still considering whether there may be more affordable options, thank you again for checking in.

Hey stannie1950,
Glad to be of help. If you are able to find a diagram of your HVAC system, there is a chance you could find more details on what the wires exactly are and how to wire those. If you have any questions from here, please feel free to reach back out and best of luck.
Best regards,
Jake
