Nest Thermostat cooling

Hi Guys, I’m kind of confused about my new Nest thermostat. My thermostat is not cooling as it’s supposed to. I set a temperature much lower than the current one. For example, in my apartment right now it is 82 degrees, and I set it to 68. It starts cooling and after 2 minutes stops, and never starts cooling again for hours until I reset it.

all tests works , no faults or something else, maybe the problem is the wires ?

in my old thermostat I had a red wire to RC

white W/B I put in w1

blue was y/0 I put in Y1

Hi ST98,

Thanks for posting and sorry to hear about this situation with the cooling at your home. No worries, help's here! I have a few question to get a better picture of the case:

  • What wires do you have connected currently in your Nest Thermostat?
  • Do you a C-WIRE connected?

I'll wait for your responses, but, in advance here you have some steps to Troubleshoot strange heating or cooling behavior.

Regards,

Axel.
