Nest Thermostat not adding to Google home app

Not able to add my Nest Learning thermostat to the Google app. QR code scan just goes next to the Home Screen and after entering Entry key the waiting screen keeps going on. Any help will be appreciated.

Only the newish Google Nest Thermostat work on the Google Home App, you have to use the Nest App to set it up, and then it should appear on the Google Home App.
