Hello Craig,

Thanks for reaching out. I understand the frustration you're experiencing with your Nest Temperature Sensor login issues. Let's sort this out.

To resolve this, you can try the following steps:

  1. Clear App Cache and Data:
    1. Go to your phone's settings.
    2. Navigate to the "Apps" or "Application Manager" section.
    3. Find and select the Nest app.
    4. Clear the cache and data for the Nest app.
  2. Uninstall and reinstall the Nest app.
    1. Uninstall the Nest app from your phone.
    2. Reinstall the Nest app from the app store.
    3. Log in with the new Gmail account you created.
  3. Try the "Sign in with Nest" with your old account and the Sign in with Google with your Google account.
  4. To reset the sensor, remove the batteries for at least 5–10 minutes and make sure to restart the Nest Thermostat first before attempting to add them in the app.
  5. If all else fails, go to the Nest Web App site, login with your credentials, and let us know if it works.

Best regards,
Mark
