Simply put - terrible buy that I will never recommend. Battery randomly dying now and won’t hold a charge longer then 8 hours, the 2 years prior it has had connectivity issues and died a couple times. Owned for 2 years 4 months - just out of “warranty” so Google won’t do anything. You are essentially paying $200 for product known to die as soon as it’s out the box. $20 thermostats lasting for decades are taken for granted, never did I care about anything the Nest offers prior to getting one and that life was a bit simpler.
