Why does nest allow temperatures to vary so greatly before initiating heating? this winter the thermostat shows actual temperature 3-4 degrees below my setting with over 30 minute anticipated heating time yet it does not turn on. I have a dual system upstairs and down and both do this. Is there a reason behind this? furnace resting? can i tell the system how much variation from set temperature to allow?
