Nest app energy

Cehood

Ever since the switch to DST, my energy history in the Nest app is not current...it's a day behind. Today is Wednesday, and the most current day showing is Monday. Tried restarting everything, reinstalling the app...nothing worked. Energy history is current on thermostat and in Home app.

Hi @Cehood

According to this older post the same issue happened last year.  I'll escalate this over to the support team.

Thanks for reporting-

Hi folks,

Thanks for reaching out and for being a step ahead of us. A few questions: are you using an Android or iOS mobile phone? Were you able to try using a different mobile device to check your thermostat's Energy History from the Nest app? Ensure that Local Network Access is enabled for your Nest or Home app.

Check out the guide below:

  1. On the iOS device's home screen, tap Settings.
  2. Tap Privacy and then Local Network.
  3. On the list of apps, turn on Local Network Access for the Nest or Home app.

Also, please take a screenshot of what you can see in your Energy History, and share it with us.

Keep us posted.

Best,

Jenelyn

I am using Android to access the Nest app.

How do I share a screenshot?

There is the screenshot from yesterday.

Good news is, the app is up to date as of today. I'm not sure why the app showed over 16 hours of usage on Tuesday last week when the Home app showed normal usage. But everything seems working fine now.
