Nest app keeps going offline

We had a tech come out and install out Nest Learning Thermostat. Everything worked fine and got connected. Now the app keeps saying it's offline on and off every single day. Why is it going offline and how can we fix the issue?

Let's see what's going on with your thermostat. How far is it from your Wi-Fi router? Did you make any changes to your Wi-Fi router? Also, have you tried any troubleshooting steps to fix this? Keep us posted.

Hi Archie, 

We moved to a new unit and WiFi is set up as a community WiFi for the building where every unit has it's own router. Stable connection on all of our other devices, such as phones, laptops etc. It has a strong connection. I've tried every step possible troubleshooting, paid to have an OnTech come out to re-install the device as well. We've had our internet provider Spectrum come out multiple times to try to solve the issue. The conclusion they've come to this far is that the Nest Thermostat jumps between two unit WiFis and can't stay on our unit WiFi only.
