Nest app not responding

I know this has already been asked but I tried that "fix" and it didn't fix.  My Nest App shows I'm offline and the thermostat shows I am online I have delete app and re-downloaded. I have taken thermostat back to factory settings. Before I did the factory reset the app and thermostat were in sync.  But I was trying to add my Echo Dot, which I could not do either.  One problem at a time, I just want my app and thermostat to be in sync.  Thank you

Thanks for reaching out and sorry for the delayed response. 

 

Do you still need help with this? If yes, have you successfully added back your Nest thermostat to your Nest app and Wi-Fi network after doing the factory reset? If yes, does the Nest app still show "offline"? Also, is this only happening on a specific mobile device or across any other mobile device where a Nest app is installed?

I am having trouble with this . I use a mobile hot spot so messing around with settings on the hotspot is not an option. It was working fine until i left town (with my hotspot) for a month and now I can not get it to sync with the app again.  I have been messing with this for hours.
