I am trying to install a nest thermostat to a boiler. The thermostat wire has a c wire. The zone control has two T terminals. The 24 volt transformer has a load and a common. This is what am hvac guy at work suggested but others have said it doesn't make sense. ( White on thermostat to zone valve. Red on thermostat to load on transformer. Common on thermostat to other zone valve and common on transformer) Can you help me?

Hello Jamesdj13077,
Certainly! It's great that you're reaching out for assistance. Installing a Nest Thermostat can sometimes be a bit tricky, especially when dealing with multiple components like zone valves and transformers. The suggestion from your HVAC colleague seems to be on the right track, but let me clarify the wiring based on your description:
This setup aims to establish connections between the thermostat, zone valves, and the transformer. The common wire acts as the return path for the electrical circuit, ensuring proper functioning. If you're still uncertain or encountering issues, consider seeking advice from a professional HVAC technician. They can provide guidance based on the specifics of your system and ensure a successful installation.
Best regards,
Mark
