Nest can’t open

My thermostat kept looking on “thermostat is restarting be back in a bit

Mine did that, closed down, then doesn't restart. Hoping to get some advice as the help desk said the only solution they could provide me with was to but a new thermostat. Which is ridiculous.

Yikes! I'm sorry to hear that your thermostats are restarting unexpectedly. Are you located in North America or Europe? What type of Nest thermostat do you have? And does your thermostat have a C wire connected to its base? Also, if you can get into the thermostat's settings, kindly check the power readings of your thermostat. Go to Settings > Technical Info > Power and gather the power readings of Battery, VOC, VIN, and lIN if you have the Nest Learning Thermostat and Nest Thermostat E. For the Nest Thermostat 2020, go to Settings > Equipment > Power and gather the power readings of VIN, IIN, and PS-*.
