Hi wknowles70,

You can reset your Google Nest thermostat and adjust it manually using your iPhone.
Here's how:

  1. Open the Google Home app on your iPhone.
  2. Tap on your Nest thermostat.
  3. Tap on the Settings gear icon in the top right corner.
  4. Scroll down and select "Reset" under the "Device settings" section.
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions to reset your thermostat.
  6. After resetting, you can adjust the temperature manually by using the Nest's temperature control ring or by using the Google Home app on your iPhone.

If the issue persists after the reset and manual adjustment, it may be a sign of a malfunctioning thermostat. In this case, you may want to contact Nest support for further assistance.

Thank You

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out — I'm sorry for the delay. Do you have any schedules created? Could you please check if your Nest Learning Thermostat created a schedule automatically by learning your routine?

You can take a look at this guide:

  1. Go to your thermostat Quick View menu.
  2. Select the Calendar icon.
  3. Check if you have any schedules there.

Also, disable smart features like Home/Away Assist and Auto Schedule if not in use.

I appreciate your help, @AriefAnshori

Best,

Jenelyn
